The Dreamer Soccer Jersey- Longsleeve (Preorder)

Yall knew we couldn’t leave yall without a longsleeve Goalie jersery for the 40th year of Dragonball airing in the United States.

This jersey is inspired by the love of the Dragon Ball Saga, soccer, individuality, and having the courage to embrace what you genuinely love. 

I discovered Dragon Ball as a kid in the late ‘90s while getting up at 4am to get  my siblings’ clothes ready for school. That one moment sparked other moments that introduced me to people who didn’t necessarily look like me, but shared the same interests. Those friendships built my confidence, led me to soccer, skateboarding, helped me see more of the world than I ever imagined, coaching my Daughter’s soccer team, and eventually starting Especial. Every chapter started with simply being myself, unapologetically.

This jersey is a reminder to be who you are, dream beyond your current surroundings, and trust that you’ll find your tribe.

I wanted to make sure to close out the year with a long sleeve goalie jersey version of this concept. I changed the numbering on the jersey to represent the 40th year of the Dragonball saga airing in the US. The goal was for the jersey to look like a real, TV network-sponsored soccer Jersey by showing love the Japanese Network that had a base in Hawaii (Nippon Golden Newtork) that got deal with Toei and then leased it to my local TV Network (WB39). Then I moved the Angel Tori-Bot with to the top of the jersey and then made sure the colors of each color Saiyan power was represented in the flames of the jersey.

Every detail was intentional. Built from scratch over two years, this high-quality soccer jersey was made for work and play, and I wasn’t going to release it until it felt right.

Premium, Breathable Mesh, Slight Oversized Fit, Crazy Details (Colors, Labels, Embroidery. Allat.) It’s really times like this why I know that Especial was the perfect name for this brand. I really love how this soccer jersey came out.
